Stalking pays off

As you may know, the Marine Corps Marathon (The People’s Marathon) sells out in about 2 hours. If you don’t get a spot in those 2 hours, you have to Facebook stalk complete strangers and wait for someone to get injured and offer their bib up for transfer. This is harder than it sounds because the instant someone posts that their bib is available, 20 people respond to them.

Well, Grasshopper, I will not be out-stalked. Today I successfully secured a bib in the marathon.

This is really happening. No turning back now.
